GAME PROGRAMMER/UNITY DEVELOPER

We are Kukouri Mobile Entertainment, a multi award-winning indie game developer founded in 2011, based in Kotka, Finland. (2019 Best Indie Developer at Pocket Gamer mobile game awards)


We are looking for a full-time Game Programmer/Unity developer to join our ranks to develop our multi-platform MMO Pixel Worlds (2018 People's Choice Award at Game Connection) and future projects.

Responsibilities
  • Work together with the team to come up with new ideas and improvements for the game.
  • Be one of the key elements in implementing those ideas and designs into the project.
  • Optimize our current systems and code for better performance.
  • Maintaining the current systems.
  • Have an independent working attitude and take the responsibility of planning your own work.
  • Understand the game
Essential for the job:
  • Experience in Unity 3d game engine
  • Solid skills in C# programming language
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Able to occasionally come to the office in Kotka, Finland when needed
  • Passion for games
We also appreciate:
  • If you speak Finnish
  • Skills in JavaScript and Python programming languages
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
  • Experience working with online games and servers
  • Good understanding of MMO games and how they work
